| Why donate to TeenHelp? |
Your donations will be used to better help TeenHelp provide free services to our members. Everything on our site -
the forums, chat room, Live Help, HelpLINK, everything - is either donated, purchased personally by the site
administrators, or custom built by the site administrators. Your donation will help with some of TeenHelp's regular
costs.
Donation Incentives!
TeenHelp provides its users with the following donation incentives. By donating each amount below or greater, you will
receive the related bonus. Cumulative amounts count, so if you donate $10.00 and then donate another $10.00 a month later,
you would receive the $20.00 incentive upon making the second donation!
Up to $9.99 – TeenHelp Donor icon below your username.
$10-$19.99 – Access to a special “Donors” forum, plus above incentives.
$20-$29.99 – Private message limit increased to 1,000 (double the regular user limit), plus above incentives.
$30-$39.99 – Ability to upload 10 images at a time (three times the regular user limit) and 500 in total (ten times the regular user limit), and the ability to send up to 25 PMs at a time (five times the regular user limit), plus above incentives.
$40-$49.99 – Private message limit increased to 5,000 (ten times the regular user limit), plus above incentives.
$50-$59.99 – Avatars, profile picture and signature picture limits match that of administrators (two to three times the regular user limit), and signature character limits tripled, plus above incentives.
$60-$69.99 – Private message limit increased to 10,000 (twenty times the regular user limit), plus above incentives.
$70-$84.99 – Permanent removal of all ads on the TeenHelp forums for one user account, plus above incentives.
$85-$99.99 – Added to a special “TeenHelp Sponsor” usergroup on the forums, plus above incentives. This changes your username colour, removes the edited by notice underneath your edited posts, grants you the ability to edit your own thread titles, allows you to upload animated (GIF) avatars, profile pictures and signature pictures, and makes various other small tweaks to improve your time on TeenHelp! Plus above incentives.
$100-$149.99 – Sponsor recognition on TeenHelp's main site. This includes linking to a site of your choice, which can be useful for promoting a personal site of yours, plus above incentives.
$150+ – Uncapped (unlimited)* private messages, plus above incentives.
Donations are not yet tax deductible as we are not technically a registered nonprofit organization.
Disclaimer - By donating money to TeenHelp.org via PayPal or any other method, you confirm that you are making a voluntary donation to TeenHelp and that you are not purchasing a product from TeenHelp. TeenHelp retains the right to remove any donation incentives from your account at any time after your donation. Misuse of any donation incentive, including violations to TeenHelp's Terms of Service or forum rules, will result in immediate removal of these incentives from your account, and may result in further disciplinary action, including temporary or permanent forum bans if appropriate. TeenHelp reserves the right to add, change or remove donation incentives, or to raise the price required to obtain donation incentives at any time. Donations are not refundable under any circumstances, as these are goodwill donations and not purchases. Donations are effective for one user account only. If the user chooses to register a new account, previous donation incentives may or may not be applied to the new account at the administration's discretion.

| How To Donate |
Donate Using Credit Card/eCheck/PayPal
Click on the donation button below to use a credit/debit card, eCheck or PayPal. Types of funding we are
currently able to accept are shown below. If you are under 18 or using a parent's credit card, please make sure you have
permission before making a donation!
Important!
After you have donated, please send an email to donations [AT] teenhelp.org to confirm your donation. Please include your forum username and a copy of your PayPal receipt in this email so that we may match your donation to your account. This will allow us to confirm your donation and add any donation incentives to your account as soon as possible. All details within the PayPal receipt will be kept confidential, in line with the TeenHelp.org Privacy Policy. Donations and donation incentives will not be added until this has been completed, as we will not know who you are.
Donate Through Postal Mail
If you do not have a credit card or do not want to use our online donation system, you can send your donation to one of our
site administrators, who will add your donation for you. You will still be listed on our donor page.
TeenHelp does not recommend that you send cash in the mail if at all possible; this is risky, and we cannot guarantee that your donation will ever arrive!* In an attempt to prevent interception of mail, please follow these guidelines when donating through the post:
- Do not mark the envelope in any way that might indicate money is inside! E.g. Don't write "TeenHelp donations" on the front!
- Use a security envelope. These have a dark pattern on the inside that make it difficult to see what's inside.
- Do not send coins. Coins are easily indentifiable by their weight.
- Wrap all money in a couple of sheets of folded paper; this will make your donation look and feel like a letter.
- For large donations a cheque/check should always be used. These are more secure than money. Cheques should be made payable to the administrator you're sending them to (Helen or David), and not to TeenHelp.org. Cheques made payable to TeenHelp.org will not be cashable.

David and Helen will be able to give you their addresses and tell you how you may send money to them. Also, please remember to include a piece of paper stating your username on it, so that there will be as few delays as possible in adding your donation incentives.

Please make sure the usernames you enter are exactly how your name currently is, and how you'd like it to be. You are advised to check if someone had already registered your desired username before making payment, as payments might be non-refundable.
